Join Jo, a local botanical artist, who is a member of the Chelsea Physic Garden and is a trained botanical jane-edwards-violaillustrator, for her course at the Dorothy Clive Garden. Jo will teach you how to make detailed botanical illustrations using pencil crayon.

The 2017 Half Marathon will once again start and finish in Much Wenlock and cover a scenic route taking in the footpaths, trails, bridlepaths and lanes in and around the town. The route will also take in Ironbridge – the birthplace of modern industry and a World Heritage Site. Leading men and ladies, including those in all age categories will, in Olympian tradition, be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. All finishers will receive a participation medal.

Enjoy a riverside walk to the Dudmaston Estate to see the display of bluebells. Return to the park past the estate lakes and the village of Quatt. Booking essential for all walks Please book early to avoid disappointment. Meet at 9.15am for a 9.30am start. Please wear walking boots and bring a packed lunch and drink.

Join a drop-in tile decorating workshop between 10am and 3.30pm and try the tube lining technique to produce your own ceramic masterpiece; you could make a collection of coasters, a circular door plaque or a gift for a loved one on a heart shaped tile. Activities vary from day-to-day; tiles cost from £5 each and can be fired and sent home later for a small extra charge to cover postage and packing. It takes up to 1½ hours to decorate your tile so last admission to the workshops is 2pm.
