Horses

If you have horses then why not bring them too? The Old Rectory is right on a bridleway that leads directly to the Jack Mytton Way and over the Brown Clee and Titterstone Clee Hills. Literally 1000s of acres of riding country – fantastic scenery and virtually no need to go on a road.
After a leisurely breakfast saddle up and head off in whichever direction you care to go. We have maps and route cards and we can make packed lunches for you if you want to make a day of it. There are a variety of local pubs that are horse friendly if you prefer. Occasionally Izzy may be able to join you and show you the way!

There are 4 loose boxes with straw or shavings and hay or haylage is provided. Let us know if you need hard feed too, though most people like to bring their own. There is a lockable tack room with saddle racks and storage space and parking for trailers and lorries.
We have facilities for individual turnout if you prefer and as a member of Marches Horse Trails we have linked up with other horsey B and Bs so you might want to ride from one to the other.

After a long day in the saddle, have a deep soak in the bath or use the sauna in the cellar to really relax. We can provide dinner in the evening (we have no licence so bring your own wine) or there are local pubs serving good food nearby.
